Record Salmon Predictions in the News
Alaska, Washington, California and Oregon are all weighing in on the predicted salmon runs for this year. Various media outlets have been picking up on the great news.

“A near record year is predicted for Chinook or King salmon in California.”

“Columbia River: About 760,000 fall Chinook are expected to return to the Columbia River this season. That’s about 112,000 more Chinook than last year’s return and would constitute the fifth largest run since 1948,” said Cindy LeFleur, Columbia River policy coordinator for WDFW.

All of these fish will be coming by our doorstep at the Kyuquot Super Salmon Highway!  Our location is just miles off the continental shelf, where these abundant migrating Chinook will be running.  We are there only during the peak!
