RIGGING OF BAITS
Herring Bait
Rig as you would a natural. Most common bait-holders and bait rigs work well with all Baitrix baits. We recommend leader lengths, using 40 lb. test line, of 58-72 inches when using the Baitrix Herring. You will find the built-in “roll” is a perfect 1-2 revolutions per second behind your favourite Flasher or Dodger at normal trolling speeds. A bend in the bait is not required. Glow Baits are rigged the same and are recommended when fishing depths below 60 feet…More
Anchovy Bait
Chinook top the list because they’re the largest Pacific salmon and you can find them all year round. Chinook hunt smaller fish, so anchovy or herring strip works well. If the anchovy or herring can be made to look injured, they will be of even more interest to the Chinook. The best bait is anchovy or herring so try both the Baitrix Herring and the Baitrix Anchovy because natural details ensure that they appear life-like; and you can use the anchovy in a Rhys Davis Teaser Head for best results….More

Almost all creatures secret pheromones, making scent/smell an important part of their lives for various situations. In the case of fish, scent is an important part of feeding…More

IPermanent Markers are very handy and will provide much more versatility to the bait. There are various products to add color, but “Mark-It” by Bic works very well.
You can try variations of coloring the bait to suit what you need to catch more fish…More
