ActionDiscs
ActionDiscs produce a random, chaotic swimming-action and vibration that perfectly matches the motion of a wounded bait-fish struggling to escape. Because the disc simply slides onto the leader and is not attached to the bait, it’s position can be adjusted up and down the line to produce different results.
Free Sliding Rig
This rig allows the motion created by the disc to be transferred directly to the bait resulting in a quick, natural swimming action.
Works at virtually any trolling speed.
Adjustable Fixed Rig
Pegging the ActionDisc up the line from the bait results in a pulsing/darting action with a wide range of lateral movement.
Use a tooth pick, bobber stopper or tie a bobber stop knot to space the disc roughly 6 inches in front of the bait.
Drag the rig along side the boat at trolling speed to check the action. Tune the rig by sliding the stopper closer to or farther away from the bait to get the action you want.
Big Difference!
The video clip to the left compares the action of identical baits trolled at the same speed.
The weights on both rigs are free-sliding on the line.
On the top rig, water pressure deflected from the front of the ActionDisc pushes the weight up the line.
